Alloy Radiator

As the title suggests, I'm after an alloy rad. for my 33gtr just wondering where in Adelaide they are sold after something mid range, looking to spend between 3-500 so any suggestions would be appreciated

Ring Sinergy Motorsport mate they got mine on the day I needed it. Got my 52mm for 380 but just Jap sell em cheaper I think. Ring them early and they can have it to you by tomorrow

the isc one is. even keeps the standard fan and fan shroud. never had a problem with it and i've been rocking it for 3 yrs now

Also had one in my R32 GTR and now my S14 and its a direct fit + lower temps (especially at the track), no problems at all. Only thing you may need to do is re-tap the temp sendor hole as its made for an aftermarket sensor.

no its a R32 rad.

it has issues because of the height of the neck is different from OEm and no rad cap in the world seals correctly with it.

was this the one that went into the S14 though or an R32? Never had any issues with an R32 rad fitting into an R32 before etc. We havn't fitted one into an S14 before so I can't comment on that fitment (we have fit them into S13/180sx and A31 though). The cap supplied with the radiator should fit up 100%, if there was an issue then I could have been contacted to help etc.

was in the s14.. the cap that came with it was fine. but the height of the neck on the rad was different from an OEM rad.. i only picked this up recently as the problem and cause of all my overheating issues... this was after i pulled my head off and replaced HG and all that.. so was slightly annoying to find something so small and simple such as a design fault in the rad to be the problem.

ISC 52mm Alloy Rad did the job on my R32 Gtr no problems money well spent.

Have to redrill holes for brackets to fit 32 rad into A31.

Why do you class it as a design fault though? Like I said the r32 rads work 100% fine when installed into an r32 etc. Yes they may need very slight modification to fit an a31 as it is an r32 rad but the mods would be very minor. Not trying to start any arguments here guys, the feedback is appreciated.

its a design fault if it doesnt seal the radiator cap properly isnt it. im not saying all of them are like that as you've got plenty people who run them with no issues but this particular one did have issues. I ended up throwing it out as scrap alloy... put a stock radiator in and all problems gone. also tested on another R32 and some problems were there with rad.

it also held pressure in the system. after a week of not driving you'd pop the cap off to check coolant and there would be pressure trapped in there. this was same on other car tested also. this is not normal and shows that its not allowing the cap to open its drain back valve as coolant cools down
