Hey peeps, my sis no longer uses this and needs it gone. Currently its out of reg and hasnt been driven in a couple of months. I suspect it will need a new battery to get going but im not 100% sure.

91 Silo

White over grey 2-tone

auto

23*,000 kms

$1500 ono

Stock apart from Pioneer HU and speakers in the rear shelf (spacers used so no holes in shelf)

Car is located in Flemington, Melbourne

My sister bought this car off one of my mates a couple of years ago with 213,000kms on it. He inherited it from his Grandpa (the original owner) when he died with 160,000kms on the clock. I've known this car since 2000 and have personally serviced it many times over the years.

When my sister got it had the following done:

New windshield

New battery

New front pads and discs

New rear pads, discs and rebuilt calipers

New handbrake cables

brake fluid flush

New wheel bearings front

New monroe gas inserts front

New lower ball joints L & R front

New centre tailshaft bearing

4 * tyres (i think they're Nexen but can double check)

4 wheel alignment done by myself. I was very particular smile.png

set of plugs

coolant flush/change

oil and filter

fuel filter

trans filter/fluid

subi spray/upper cylinder clean

More recently i replaced the steering rack bushes and steering column bush with superpro items and had another wheel alignment. I also did a service, fuel filter, coolant and plugs.

alternator was replaced about 18 months ago with a reco item

Water pump and timing belt were done at 200,000kms by another mechanic. Should be in the receipts pile somewhere, along with a few other services i didnt do.

The body is reasonably straight but has a few bumps around the place and a split front valance (the bit under the headlights between the bumper bar) but will come with another one to prep/spray.

It is dirty inside and out. Seats need a steam clean and it needs a good wash, cut and polish. Try getting a chick to clean a car - I dare ya!

Bad points:

-ISCV is doing its usual thing. I have cleaned a few out and swapped them over but it needs to be done again. I can supply a spare if need be.

-Elec auto is doing its usual thump into second. Common for these and is usually the solenoid that requires replacing. I have been quoted $40 dollars for one from a supplier.

-Diff has a little bit of backlash but is also common for these things. LSD still works too!

-Alternator is on its way out again. I have rebuilt these before and can get slip rings and bearings for under $90. Takes 1 hour with a press and soldering iron to rebuild and will be 100% better than a reco item - guarantee it.

-AC needs new seals and regas

-Needs a clean

Its a reliable car thats never been thrashed and with a few hours of TLC and a couple of small things maintenance items will go for another 150,000kms.
