Installing Car Audio 250Gt

Hey Guys

I got around to start the installation of a new HU in my 02 250GT Non-Bose. The car has a factory Clarion unit. I managed to find the correct wiring from the original harness and hooked it up to the jvc deck. Turns on good but no sound at all on the speakers

Spent hours double checking my work and it seems good. The only thing i can think of is that there's an amp somewhere giving the speakers power and it's not switched on hence no sound coming out from the speakers.

I thought only the premium models with Bose comes with amplifiers. Can anyone confirm this?

not in those. are you SURE that its not a bose unit? look under the rear shelf for a black box. if its there then you have an amplifier in there.

Yes. Positive that it's a non Bose. It comes with stock clarion HU. Thanks for the assist. I'll give it another go today...in the daytime...maybe that'll help. hehe

Well hellooo amp. Found one sitting in the rear

shelf just like you said. It's a clarion with a video in and a round 5-pin connector.
