Well pleasedbiggrin.gif

The cars done 92000mls now, what do you reckon on the engine having been rebuilt? Really pleased with results, but seem to good for a high mileage engine, what's your thoughts guys?

92,000 miles - that's some weird odo

On the other hand, if the engine is serviced well and everything was well within tolerance since new, since things vary, not all engines are the same even when new, having a good compression even with 100K is nothing strange IMO.

could've also had a new headgasket put in at some point in time and if the head was machined (which it most likely would've been) then you would end up with good compression results.

That was my thought, one of the guys that previously owned her, was a US aircraft mechanic, so he may have done work on her.

That's the only time during his ownership there in no service history. sad.gif
