Band Expander Install For A V36 - Melbourne

Hey guys. Has anyone had this done in Melbourne?

I'd rather go to a place who has taken apart a V36 - don't want anyone screwing up my Bose stereo or having a squeeky dash when it's put back together!

Any info on prices would be good too.

they've done it i think, and I dont think ive met a store that takes more care of their customers cars..

Thanks - I'll give the Malvern store a call (I live inner city). I do go out to Dandey every now and then but couldnt' leave the car there for a day.

Anyone use Hektik in Brunswick? I heard they're alright and they are close.

Also, my new Skyline has a factory fitted Bose unit, so am still unsure about the plugs. A guy from a car audio place here said it would have the same as the factory plugs.

Hi David,

If you are mainly listening to stations above 100MHz then the 18MHz unit will be the best. This receives 94 to 108MHz by deducting 18MHz from the station frequency required eg. 102.7 would be tuned in at 84.7 on the Japanese radio dial. It will have the normal Nissan twin plug being a factory Bose unit.

you need one. those guys supply the world with the expanders. easier to buy the 3 leads locally and plug them in. takes about 25 min to do from dry.
