Need To Know What My Engine Came Out Of..

So Im not a very active member on these forums, I spend most of my time on GTRCanada. I posted this question on GTRC without much help, nobody seems to be able to give me an answer... this is what I posted on GTRC:

I was browsing online today and found some info on rb26 block codes to tell if the motor is from an r32, early or late, r33 or r34... The numbers on my block dont seem to match up to an R32 block.. (from the little info I have found I think this is an R34 motor)

my block code looks like this:

RB26

R

704416X

I have not gotten under to see if it says 05u Or 27U or 24U or whatever else it could be.

Just curious I think my car may have an R34 motor in it??

based off your engine number, i'd say yes you have a r34 engine in it.

sweeet! and here I was worried I had the stock r32 motor and was wondering if the oil pump issue was fixed in it or not. Great to know.
