drew6
Hey guys, Thanks for all the replys. Now that I know what the dome CC is (15.5) I can calculate it. Does anyone know what the std deck clearence is on an RB26?? I had it written down but I am now traveling and would like to get this all sorted for when I get back home. Also, here in Canada, if its a dome top we always call it +cc if its dish top its -cc. Therefore, +cc decreses the total combustion chamber and -cc increases combustions chambers. Might be the other way around else where though. Thanks! ahh 33 s2
oh and to the bloke that asked yes they can and do sit slightly proud. up to you to set the right deck height and chose the right thickness gasket to get the right CR and also to ensure they interact properly with the squish pads but don't hit valves or anything else. not always just bolt them in and whack it together. you do need to do some measuring. thanks baron, yeh i need to check it out, im a little concerned as i have 10.8mm lift cams and +1mm valves, was speaking with my workshop he said to use plastacine to check if they are going to hit or not, fingers crossed it all works out Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/367818-rb26-compression-ratio-cp-pistons/page/2/#findComment-5869284 Share on other sites
