Ideal for show car project, or someone after a genuine low km GTR V -Spec to do up.

It has not been registered or on the road since 2003.

Please email me at [email protected] for more photos. (It is my personal car).

Service sticker photo attached for you.

No books.

The car was in a workshop to get some big power out of it i assume, he must not have paid his bill, and the workshop sold the car, simple as that.

It has not been registered since 2003, when the car is sitting in a garrage it does not clock up many kms ....

I can not verify the kms, as stated in the initial post, however the condition of it speaks for its self.

Ok, so it's a 95 gtr with 18,600 km's on an aftermarket dash with no topend, no turbos, no cooler or radiator, no wheels and no front brakes. Can you please post a price.

Offers over $20,000. Yes it has a fair bit missing, but rather than me putting it to back to a standard V Spec, then someone buys it and pulls of what I just put on it, seems silly. This way the buyer can choose if he wants Brembos or the bigger AP Racing Callipers and Rotors, single turbo, different intercooler etc.

The thing with this car is the "as new Condition" body and interior. Very hard to find in this condition.

I believe it would appeal to someone who is after an excellent starting point for a car people woud be envious off. I have people offer me silly low offers so they can turn it into a drifter, that would be a crying shame. There are plenty of average ones out there, no need to wreck this one.

I know it wont appeal to everyone.

wo, I think you will be holding onto it a bit longer at that price. You could find an exceptionally clean gtr for $22,000 ish so why would any one want a half complete car for $20,000?

  • 3 weeks later...

Lol.. sorry mate i generally am not a dick.. But your selling a half car? AND BYO wheels? LOL i cant help but laugh. Put the price down to below 10 and maybe someone will look at it..

Front brakes $2000 +

To complete engine: $3000+?

Wheels: $1000+?

See were im going with this? I can buy a CLEAN GTR for 30 with mods and work done with low k's.

PS: You bought a car from a workshop who sold someones property? Now i dont know about this but there must be some legal requirenments to be met...

Apart from the ridiculous price, false claims about the Kms... doesn't even make sense how you own this car, nor is there proof.

locked.

until you provide an acceptable trail of sale from owner, to workshop... workshop to you... no chance for you to try sell this here.

    • Hypothetical hat on.... I think they want to make sure that it is no more than 8.2mm to ensure that the 14mm hex electrical isolator washer thing stays outboard of the hole, so the o-rig on it seals properly, and they want as much room as possible between the passthrough bolt and the plastic lid, so that it can't touch the plastic and heat it. Even assuming that the steel should run cold enough to not be an issue, they are probably applying additional paranoia in case of the sorts of crimp/terminal problems we're thinking might be at play in your situation.
    • Just looking at the instructions for these Efi hardware terminals, is anyone able to explain to me why the diameter of the hole must be specifically between 8.1 and 8.2 mm? If the post is 6mm, and you drill say a 7mm hole, how could this possibly cause an issue?  In any case, the more I read these instructions, the more I think I want to give them a go.  https://www.efihardware.com/download/237/866-033_M6_Bulkhead_Terminal_High_Amp
    • Okay it seems there's a slight design difference there with the hex which will do nothing at all. The ones I had were the EFI Solutions round ones. I was able ratchet the nuts with huge torque and they were flat and FIRMLY into it. You could say they became part of the lid, given they physically melted into it. It doesn't get any more firmly attached than that! The heat generated is enough to melt the plastic insulators. I agree, you would think Walbro would use wiring in their own pump with enough gauge to handle the heat their own product creates, but it just doesn't seem to be the case long term. I suppose it's possible that mine only shifted towards the end of their 10 year life before melting through, but that said... it can shift again, a nut can come loose again. The solution is a different type of plug, that is held in mechanically and can't shake loose and self-create a bad connection.
