Im considering it

im guessing they would be the same as eyelids

cover the light in foil and put down resin, fibre cloth, more resin, hardener then just sand smooth

only thing im thinking would be difficult is cutting the circles/square ....

i have a question about using pva glue as a mould release.

should i let the pva glue dry completely til it hardens and then apply fibreglass and resin?

ps. sorry for hijacking thread, my question seems relevant and i didnt want to start a new thread for one question.

thanks for help

I've never tried that but personally I'd use the alfoil of gladwrap / clingwrap method, or you can get Mould Release Wax on ebay, it's pretty cheap too at around $5 for a small lot, just brush it on, glass it up, wait till it's dry and remove =) I get all my Fiberglass supplies from Composite Supplies on Ebay, great products and prices =)

If you apply a thin even film and wait till it gets tacky then your ready to rock.
