I've done heaps of searching around and it seems that the main topic being covered are the R32 - R33 sensors. From the sticky thread I have concluded that the EL ford sensor doesn't work for R34s is this correct? And our sensor from kudos motorsport costs roughly $220?

I'm happy to rewire the 3 wires, what's a cheaper alternative, I've spent heaps of hours looking around for one, but no topic can discuss this.

R32-R33 only cost 90 dollars to replace, how come R34s cost 220 dollars??

Thanks for your help!

Hey matey, I've also been looking high and low to find an O2 sensor for my R34 GTT. I rang Nissan today and they want $275 for one!! I'm at a loss as to why this is so expensive compared to the 32's and 33's. I'm also wanting to know if the EL Ford sensor fits and if there is any adverse affect in using one.

I'll keep searching and let you know if I find anything, can you please let me know how you go as well mate as this just seems far too pricey!!

Cheers bud,

Steve

thanks for the reply! got my nissan consult cable today and had the O2 fluctuating between 0.3 - 0.8V at 2500RPM stable, so I don't think my O2 sensor is broken, but anyhow, I will definitely keep an eye out for you to see whats compatible with the R34 model and any alternatives
