Factory sony stacker

Hey guys,

Who here has the factory sony stacker with an aftermarket deck?

I have the factory deck in my car with a band expander in it and its really been shitting me lately. It doesnt pickup reception well and is pretty fuzzy.

So what i wanna do i get an aftermarket deck but i still want to keep the use of my sony stacker, im pretty sure ill have to get a sony deck that doesnt bother me but before i go out and buy one id just like to know if i can plug the stacker straight into it with no problems?

I have the factory sony stacker in the boot, unsure if its connected to my JVC Mp3 player because well i've never needed more than 1 CD in the car (CD's hold around 120 mp3's).

i could buy a mp3 deck but i like my stacker and it will annoy me if it sits there and doesnt ever get used again.

hey there im 99% sure that the stacker will be no use to u...these stackers use a different din cord and data lead to the aftermarket ones....would probably be a throw away job..Ur best bet would to go MP3 or get a cheap radio/stacker combo

Theres no adaptor avail for these...these stackers use a different data system then the aus ones...its pretty much a throw away job....even if it were possible i wouldnt advise it cause the stacker would probably be at least 10 yrs old now?...soon ur gonna have problems with em...being this old it will probably start to show its age soon by skipping etc....parts for these models are hard to source as they gotta come from japan...thats only from my experience cause ive worked on a fair few of the imports on the audio side of em
