Hi,

Well after the GTR was taken from me i decided to take it easy for a while and get something more sedate

I found a Uzz30 with v8 and a 5 speed manual i drove it up from Canberra and it didn't miss a beat its a little rough but im sorting it all out as i go

i just purchased a brand new bonnet for $200 (couldn't do that with a GTR)

Its a green blue paint i will be giving it a same color respray soon

p.s these rims are for sale with near new 595's on them i was hoping for $500

Here is the list of things it has as per the seller

1991 Toyota Soarer UZZ31

FSG Dark Green

Spruce Interior

Sunroof

Non-EMV

~190,000kms

17”x8" 6 spoke wheels

Near new Federal 595SS Tyres

ACT registration until October 2011.

I bought this car in 2008 with 155,000kms on it, it was owned by a friend’s father for 3 years before that (fastidious owner). It was bought by him from EVO Motorsport in Fyshwick. The car was serviced up until my ownership by Neil at Rush Imports in Queanbeyan, after which point it was serviced by me.

Good

· Manual conversion

* W58 from Toyota Supra (low kms box, ~50,000km)

* Bullet Cars conversion kit

* HD Exedy Clutch

* Custom Tailshaft by Southern Differentials

* All new Toyota parts used where possible (gearbox mount, interior shifter surround, gearbox tunnel isolator, flywheel bolts)

* JZA80 Clutch box used

* Custom braided clutch line

* Custom gear knob (pool ball)

* Clutch switch wired in to maintain cruise control & traction control

* Traction control switch moved to ash tray

* Converted after much research and preparation by me approx 12 months ago.

· Custom exhaust by Belconnen Exhaust

* 2.25” true dual headers-back exhaust

* 2xhighflow cats

* 2x resonators

* 2x straight-through mufflers

* Chrome tips (not too showy – look almost stock, NOT cannons)

* Is quiet on cruise, and really roars under WOT – great divided pulse sound.

· Car has had the airbags replaced with Supra Bilstein struts, with HKS (rear) and King (front) springs.

· Pump, height sensors & solenoids removed – fuse pulled, no suspension warning messages on dash.

· Climate control LCD has been replaced

· Auxiliary Input mod done (can play iPod through stock head unit)

· BFI stage 1 done (snorkel removed, airbox front opened)

· HID lights (4300k) bright, but not too blue

· 1994 tail lights (with flasher modded properly to flash at right speed – no dangerous extra globes)

· Near new Front LCA bushes (Vlamos)

· Near new swaybar links

· Near new swaybar mounts

· Near new rack bushes (Vlamos & Superpro)

· Near new brake pads (Lucas front, bendix rear)

· New cluster installed (old one had LCD bleed) only displaying 39,000kms

· Handbrake cover and centre console arm rest recovered (black)

· No crash/defect history

· Recent PS fluid flush

· Recent gearbox fluid flush

· Serviced every 5,000kms with Penrite Sin oil and new filter (15W-45)

· Comes with full size (16”x6.5) spare wheel

· Inverse-hex wheel nuts all around

· Front lip on bumper

· Comes with original Soarer floor mats (a little dirty)

· Recent (late 2010) new battery.

· Recent (early 2010) new ignition coils x2

Bad

· Paint rough in some areas

* Sun burn on rear bumper

* Chip on left rear quarter

* Parking dents on doors

* Oxidisation on bonnet (comes with another bonnet, not quite a colour match)

* Front lip scratched, also needs reattaching properly

· AC isn’t working. Had it re-gassed about 2 years ago, and got a sealer put through to solve a slow leak. Since then, the leak wasn’t as bad, but it has still leaked out by now.

· Leather a little worn on front seats (small tear on drivers seat door-side bolster)

· Seatbelts could probably do with re-webbing

· CD player (stacker) skips on some CDs.

· Door trims have cracks in the usual places, but have been repaired & strengthened to prevent further cracking.

· Passengers door trim doesn’t have the speaker grill installed, but it will come with the car.

· Brake master cylinder accumulator squeaks – comes with a spare (probably best to send for rebuilding before installing)

· Occasionally pops out of first gear when taking off – it only does it on takeoff, once it’s in gear it stays. There is a slight notchiness to the gearbox as well.

· Clunk in front suspension somewhere. Thought it was lower ball joint, but replaced them with good condition ones when I changed the LCA bushes.

· Throws ECT error code after manual conversion – does not affect performance.

Note

Dash displays ~39,000kms - actual mileage of car is as listed above, ~190,000kms.

it needs cleaning up but ill hang on to it and clean it up

i will move on to a s1 bluebird after im done with this so it will be sold on in the foreseeable future

it will look heaps better than now though :)
