Bit hard to say as the dyno sheet I have only plots against speed and most of the seat time I've had so far I've been too busy looking ar other things to notice ;) I'd guess-timate that full boost (about 20psi) is reached at around the 3000-3500rpm mark.

yep that sounds awesome, so nice to drive with that much power available so early... amazing considering the capacity... that's about 1000rpm less lag than my car... what power you making at about 130km/h?

I'm going to have to get a set of these bad boys... I need that powerband in my life

fark 340kw by 3500rpm.. that's an animal. GTR powahh

Lol...full boost doesn't mean full power. Its making 340ish nearer 6000rpm.

looks good ant well done and good to hear all sorted and new engine

RPM = (SPEED / 28) * 1000

assuming it was dynoed in 4th gear with 4.11 ratio's

Thanks Paul  that puts some sense into my dyno sheet.

On the above basis, full boost by around 4400rpm!

Lol see the above Nick  so nowhere near the 1000rpm earlier! At 130kmh its a touch under 280kw. What about yours?

Nice work getting the finance committee to approve the extra spending on turbos ;)

I like the crinkle on the strut brace, that actually quite different indeed!

Good to see it back and better than before, more power FTW

ah yeah not quite... mines at about 240kw at 130km/h... that's about when peak torque/boost hits

I bet its a lot more linear though.... be interesting to feel the difference on the street... I reckon that's where this setup would shine... you don't load them up on the street like you do on a dyno... makes the laggier setups look a bit better than they drive

if your butt dyno says its got some poke at 3–3.5K rpm that's good news... mine is deader than the king of pop at that rpm

now what exactly did you tell your Mrs... word for word... cos if I start a sentence with 'I need new turbos' its heading for massive failure!

be interesting to see if your driving style changes at all... might take some time to adjust... or you might just be quicker straight off the bat...

Lol don't be under any illusions...It will cost me in more ways than one ;)

It is an extremely linear curve. Using Pauls formula, the curve really starts to ramp up at 3300rpm and I gain 200kw before 5800rpm. This is backed up by my seat of the pants feel as it is when the car starts to boogie

As for the missus, in many ways I'm lucky I look after the family finances and that fact she is not a car nut herself. I never lie, I just leave out certain figures  Because she isn't a car nut when I start talking about forged pistons, the relationship between power and torque etc etc her face just glazes over....so all I say is that its being 'fixed' :D

As for driving style, I don't think my driving 'style' will change but of course there will be a learning curve. Not only that but as said above, I have to look after the brakes.

Sounds like me and my 'Diff' issue....that took 6 months to fix :whistling:

GAY....twin this, 2.6L that with multi thingy throttles and my std RB20 makes 240 at 130km/h on the same dyno. Long live the RB20!

When is the next track day... me thinks you need a t-bone under brakes because you are going to be faster then me :)

But really...awesome to see you getting yoru car back!

lol so it's not that girls don't want to be clued up on cars, nor have the ability to be...they just get confused with all the bullshit we feed them :D

:D ROFL you do put a smile on my face mate!

As for the tbone under brakes, I'm not so sure that you are going to get the chance. At the moment I dare say that there are a few too many ponies under the bonnet for the stock brakes to rein in lap after lap. Hence the kamikaze paint job for the cam covers...who needs brakes...everyone knows that the fastest lap times are always set when you miss your brake markers ;)

See thats not it....I think its a lack of interest/mech. understanding more than anything else. Sure there are plenty of girls out there who are interested but I can literally see the lack of interest/understanding on my missus face the second I start getting into details. I'm more than happy to explain the finer details but whats the point when its going in one ear and not the other?

Yep. My 34 at winton was with no pad material left at all on one side haha.

Seriously though, get a Ksport 356 kit. Working well on Chris's car and only just over 2k.

std RB20 lol... you've spent more than me and Ant combined on bolt ons and tunes!;)

anyway I got home from work in 18mins the other night... new record... beat that Bris........ I really need to get to the track... Ant can you talk to the Mrs for me, clearly your better at it than me... mine actually knows what I'm on about because like the idiot I am I taught her... she even mentioned when I swapped coolers that the car felt smoother coming onto boost!

never get a mortgage... it means joint bank accounts and no way to lie about costs... might have to start hording cash under the mattress... no wait somewhere the wife won't look... I know, in my golf bag or under the PS3! FTW!

Ant sif need brakes... scandy flick and a bit of handbrake should scrub off enough speed;)

Chris has the D2... I also have a D2 set that I'm going to review, and if satisfactory - organise a GB in 356mm

Will be under 2k without a doubt :)

So hold off for a couple months Ant :D

If you wanna get technical Chris's are G4's like mine :P Same sh1t

Yeah I really need to have a chat to Chris about his brakes and what they were like. Might seem silly to some but I always said that if I was upgrading bits on my car I would fit top shelf stuff thats got proven results. That being said, I'm not made of money and the cost of an Alcon or AP set is pretty hard to justify when the china stuff seems to do ok....

Are you going to review them on track as well?

...mine actually knows what I'm on about because like the idiot I am I taught her...

See that was your first mistake ;)
