Hi guys,

I have and rb20 gtst with a leaking/rooted power steering pump.

What is required to be taken off to get to the pump and how much of an effort is it to do so.

Also if anyone has done this, please could you let us know the do's and don'ts.

Thanks in advance.

Ryan

Its not to hard of a job for the mechanically minded.

Do's - make sure you get exactly the same pump, look at ur current one before u order ur new one. Ensure they look the same,

- make sure before u start th car up that u bleed the power steer system.

---do this by jacking the front of the car in the air and while topping the fluid up turn the steering lock to lock. Then while its in the air start the engine and keep topping the fluid while turning lock to lock. U might need to hold it on full lock for a second each way to help bleed it.

Don't - dont get the wrong pump,

- dont bleed it with the wheels on the ground or u will over work the new pump with no fluid and can burn it
