Hi, Guys, i just done modified on my car, but i found idle sounds a bit problem.

First, when i start engine, the rpm is around 900-1000, but sometimes is quite hard to start engine.

so the problem now is, after runing the car, and it get warm, the rpm start goes up, and stay around 1000 - 1200 during idle, and have sound boh boh boh boh boh when 1200 rpm, when 1000 rpm, everythigns is normal vrommmm idle sounds. i found the MFD there turbo boost, when 1200 rpm and come sound boh boh boh at the same time, the turbo graph show it drop a lot and up a lot, not stable, when 1000 rpm, its stable. is it my turbo problem? is it because the turbo, so the idle sounds like tat? and rpm goes to tat high? i am just using 264 cam.

Can someone please help me? please~ i ask for checking, but the mechanic keep telling me that is mapping problem, not parts problem. untill know still cannot solve this problem, sad...

Regards

Eric

Unlikely to be the turbo, it does nothing at idle. Also not sure it is a mapping problem.

But if I translate your car sounds correctly, I think:

1. vacuum leak somewhere, or

2. lazy fuel pump

3. coil pack failing

4. TPS needs a clean

5. AFM needs a clean

There are DIY's in the Tutorials section.
