Hey guys im new to this site because just recently purchased a 1993 skyline R33 series 1 i believe....

When i bought the car the window was working but now a day later its not working :(

I have taken the door card off and when i press the switch i hear a little tick noise from somewhere inside the door itself but i cant figure out the problem. Just wondering has anyone else had this problem and possibly give me some suggestions on how to fix it?

cheers in advance

Get a test light and check the 2 wires going to the power window motor inside the door. One should have power when the switch is pressed up an the other when down. If there is no power there its a switch or wiring issue.

If there is power. U need a new window motor

i had the same problem with my R33, my windows were working fine when i bought the car then it suddenly got increasingly difficult to put my window up and down, i would hear the same clicking sounds that u heard.

what the clicking sounds are is the ignition sound to the small motor the window is connected to that makes it go up and down, so if your contantly flicking the switch up and down and all u hear is clicking... it means ur motor has burned out, i took mine to get fixed at a local car electric joint, they only charged me around 60 bucks, my window is good as new. so hopefully that helps you out
