As far as I know, they all got sorted for the piston slap. A small minority had larger issues. I'd say if it's running fine after 14 years it's probably not worth asking the question.. Never had a problem with my vt gen III. Best V8 i've had!

Yeah, you're right. When making a $10 000 investment in something it is best not to ask questions and just make assumptions. Silly me...

Havent had a chance to check the books sorry, been working all weekend

Your more than welcome to come and have a look, drive it and check over it. It runs great, doesn't use any oil or water and is really smooth. Engine has no knocks or rattles and idles perfect, revs clean still has plenty of go even with a standard auto. It even chirps into second now and then

On eBay now with a very low reserve and buy it now price of 11,000 with is negotiable if you want to pay cash and pick it up before the auction ends. Just need to sell it don't have room to keep it and hardly drive it. Just sits in the garage all week unless its getting moved out or around
