Good stuff Ash. That crash must have taken out half the field.

I know how quick your car is, so some of those guys must have serious cars.

Thanks Paul.

Crash took out about 4 cars, mosy of them git going again except the Black Commodore. It was a 46 car field so there were still plenty of cars out there.

I was about 2 seconds off the fastest car (Matt Cherry, Red Monaro from WA), normally I can race with Matt at Wanneroo but the 1.3km straight at Hidden Valley realy hurts me as I have to run a 36mm restrictor on the turbo intake, this limits HP to about 330rwhp and revs only to 5800rpm!

Matts top speed at Hidden Valley was 274kph, which is about 5kph higher than the V8 Supercars. The V8's only restriction is they cant be any bigger than 6ltrs, they have unlimited revs, compression, cam etc, so they make more HP than the supercars!

Bit unfair now expecting us Turbo guys to compete with the V8s with a 36mm restrictor! Even worse the Early Model cars run the same size restrictor as the late model cars, but can weight 500kgs less

I didn't realise it was such a big field, the majority must have been behind you  Yeah it was obvious in the 2nd video that the V8's have a distinct advantage in the straights :(

Are you planning on competing in any more rounds around the country ?

I have entered the IPRA Nationals at Malalla SA in November, then maybe Phillip Island the week after Malalla
