Help on Crank angle sensor

is there a difference in the RB20DE and RB20DET crank angle sensor at all???

also..... i would like 2 know when you are looking at the crank angle sensor......and you are adjusting it, which way is retard? and which way is advance?

well by my nissan engine left is advanced right is retarded i think...um just too make sure start the motor undo the crank angle sensor and twist it the higher the revs the more advanced its getting the lower the revs the more retarded its getting ...

also there shouldnt be a difference in the sensor ...but i have never scene an rb25de sensor b4 ... but i dont see there should be a difference there ...

I don't believe there should be any difference. I have a RB25DET CAS running my RB20DET.

After all, it's simply a device to tell the ECU where each of the 360 degrees are, and that there are 6 reference points (1 for each cylinder). As long as it's for a 6 cyl, then it should work.

sweet thanks guys, well yeah it did work when it was put in and adjusted. Reason i changed it was because the crank angle sensor plate had been changed with my previous aftermarket CPU- had some double point plate or some other BS!
