Cheapest I have seen is $40 per rim for powdercoating.

I had my sprayed metalic black , look good especialy on a white car , but brake dust and mud really shows

Powdercoating is harder to damage than paint, so if you want a plain colour like white or black then powdercoat is the best. Otherwise if you want a custom colour you can get them painted, but getting them painted properly won't be cheaper than powdercoating. They should be painted with 2pac, then baked. Even with 2pac paint you get the odd stone chip, especially on the rears.

I've still got my original skyline mags lying around that i'd like to paint to for use when at the drags. I've also wondered if it was possible to have them machined at all to make them look a little different to the stock ones. Looking at that http://www.depuluwheels.com/ website, they mention they can machine the face of the mags when repairing them. Anyone had this done to to change the appearance of their mags? Any other opinions on this?
