Questions From The Us On Rb20S

I got scammed into a rb20det redtop eccs. I picked up the wiring and sensors from a silvertop to use on the motor. Question #1 Will this work?

I am able to pickup a silvertop head with bent valves for $40. Question #2 & #3 Will the valves from the redtop head work in the silvertop head? Will the silvertop head work on the redtop block?

I have been searching and searching and have seen some say it will and some say it will not. Thats why I come to you guys.

blocks the same.. you will be better off using the silvertop head on the redtop block and using all the silvertop ECU loom and gear, dont even waste your time swapping valvetrain parts into the redtop head.

I was looking to use the silvertop head with redtop valvetrain on the redtop block. Use the silvertop gear (wiring ecu sensors) to run it.

pretty sure the valves are different.

get a complete silvertop head?

its complete just with bad valves on the intake side. I was hoping to get away with using the valves out of the redtop head.

Seems like people want the moon for heads here in the states.

Well I was doing some googling and came across a website that sells oem valves. Well the rb20det valve on the site are said to work with all the rb20det engines.
