Rb30 Sump/pickup On 25 Stagea Awd Block

will the sump and pickup from an rb30 fit a stagea 25neo block? ive searched and some say the block is the same as a 26 and they will not fit, others say yes or assume it will.

Does anyone know for sure? The block is from a 2000 rs4s awd stagea rb35 neo

It's not that the pickup won't fit, it's in the wrong location. RB26/Stag/anything 4wd runs the pickup from Journal 4 (middle of the engine), RB20, 25, 30 non 4wd take it from 1 journal forward at #3

from memory rwd pickup point is machined there, just needs to be drilled out

i have a s1 stagea motor in my 33 and you could NOT use the RWD pickup. the RWD pickup point is there but it's blanked out and the oil gallery only goes to the AWD pickup point anyway

it is exactly the same as a 26 block

i just used the stagea sump and had the 4wd diff cut off and the welded up.

It depends on EXACTLY what you are trying to achieve.

Keeping 4WD? I assume not

You have not been descriptive at all about what you want. With an adaptor plate, you can bolt the tin sump to the stagea block and just make a custom pickup which is easy to do.
