4Wd Light And Other Switches

does anyone know what the go is with the 4WD light on the dash of a 96 stagea? It comes on when you start the engine then goes off.Whats it for can you turn 4WD on or off? also the "snow and power" switch do they do anyrhing? thers also a switch on the dash which im assuming is diff lock maybe?

If the 4wd light comes on at start up then goes within a few seconds thats normal

Wen it stays on,then you got dramas,or look on the bright side?

Go slide it and smoke the clutch packs..
