1. ARX rims are 18 x 7.5 JJ, +40 offset.

2. I don't have any recommendations for tyres yet but the tyre placard says 225/55 R18 97H, although my ARX has 235/50 R18 101V (these came with it when I bought it). Having said this, when I upgrade my wheels I'll be looking at a larger rolling diameter to hopefully correct the speedo and maybe even improve the fuel economy.

3. In the "M35 - Light Changes" thread M35 - Light Changes recently Duncan (Dunc) posted a photo of the indicator bulb. Basically it is a larger version of the parker (T10). I think they are known as T20 and it should be 21 watts as specified in the handbook. I'm fairly certain the rear bulbs are the same as the front.

Cheers

Hi chaps..

Question - Does anyone know if the VQ25DET turbo to dump gasket is the same as the RB26s? Will install a new system soon and need to know.

Cheers all..

Generally the stock one will go the distance. It is good quality and still using the stock one after turbo change 4.5 years of driving.

+1. I think mine looked perfect when it came out but put it back with a smear or hi temp silicon on both sides just to be sure.

High temp silicone will go hard and brittle on the turbo housing Leon, I only use it if the flange wont seal now.

As there is no real pressure after the turbo the gasket isnt critical, it should be fine even if its cracked. Our turbo outlet gasket is VQ specific and was only on the VQ25det's and VQ30det's, you will need to go through Nissan for that one.

The pre turbo gasket where it bolts to the manifold is a standard T3 gasket and should be replaced whenever the turbo is removed with a good multi layered stainless gasket. Pressures in the manifold can be quite high.

Part number for the turbo gasket is 14445-4P200 in case you need it. For reference it was only used on Stagea (VQ25det) and F50 Cima (VQ30det)

This may help.

I hope not! I'd be royally peed if I have to remove the dump again. But I had a look at the packet & it's temp rated for turbos.

In any case, it was only a smear, more to hold it in place than anything else. It all seems OK till now & been on for a while too - see what happens in the next few years.

i have a spare for each end, but im pretty sure you can buy new ones. if you get stuck let me know, id really rather sell both as a pair or with the spare rack i have

how much u sell the pair for?

    • I much prefer that to an actual oil pressure issue, never would of thought it would of been a volt drop issue but SAU brains win again. Guess ill be turning down the oil pressure limit for the track and hunting some grounds. Ill hopefully update this thread with some high oil pressure and solid ecu voltage logs.
    • You've just discovered a really good reason to tell yourself, yes, I do need to buy an aftermarket ECU. Put the MAF in the bin. Slap in the new ECU and have a think about what turbo sounds you prefer.  Do you want a 90's style BOV wooosh? Do you want a hektik tsututututu?  Mate, can't go wrong. Just gotta get that ECU and the world is your oyster.
    • Hi. Iam just curisou about this topic. I saw this video. It is about Greddy Type FV2. I know that BoVs are about that sound but how and when to use it? I read some topic here and from what i have understand on stock RB with MAF there will be some "problems" if you use this BoV? It vents the air in to the atmosphere and the MAF on stock car needs this air back in to the intake and not out? Or is it wrong? If so...i saw you can put some adaptor to circule air back...but does that not "loose" that sound? I saw another BoV from Turbosmart and it has two "exhaust" like ports? One is for the stock tubing for letting air back and one is for "sound" and let the air in the atmosphere? Can someone please explain? This is the Greddy one:  And this is the Turbosmart.     THANK YOU!! EDIT: So i read about this topic some more and i if i understand that correctly: That Greddy can function either like BoV or 100% Bypass valve? And that Turbosmart is what they called hybrid so you can adjust what and how many air can be vented out or back in? Is this right? THX!
    • That dirty voltage drop is the culprit I suspect
    • i cant get them all in 1 screenshot unfortunately as i just dont know how to move things around tbh, but they are all from the same log and the line crosses at the same point for all of them
