Same story here, I've pulled out my engineering cert once, all they went to know is how fast the car goes and how much power it makes, but then I'm 46, drive the speed limit and consider myself a courteous driver.

I pulled mine out and he goes 'heh, well we are going to defect your car regardless' and went searching for shiny parts, he wrote down my boost controller as "turbo timer and boost controller".

Don't always come out on top. I can't really complain as the boost controller wasn't on the exemption from modification list.
