Intercooler Pipes

Hey, I was after some advice on what to ask when getting soem custom pipe work done for my intercooler.

The end tanks are 13" on my intercooler, so i would ask for 3" piping, correct?

next i would choose to have it mandrel bent instead of press bent for better flow

after that i would decide on what pipe type, eg: stainless steel or normal steel

is there anything else i should check ot have done, such as welds? is there a certian type of weld? etc.

with the pipe size look at the size of the turbo outlet and the inlet on the manifold piping as i think 3" may be a bit of over kill psi wise!! i'm running 2.5" inch piping for the rb20det just to give you an idea!

with mine i'm running one of the hybrid 600x300x75mm intercoolers the inlet and outlets for the cooler are both 3", your best bet would be to have a look to give you a better idea!

yeah i know .. ive got an rb20det with the same intercooler . i will come and have a lookjust dont know when i can get a chance to.
