Hey all,

I am just wondering a few things about these plenums..

a) Are they excactly the same?

B) do you need an adapted for the throttlebody, or is it moulded onto the end?

c) Does anything have to be changed at all?? (hose wises, fitting etc)

d) can you use an RB20/RB25 throttle body?

e) The GTiR pulsar throttle cable is needed?

If anyone can answer those questions it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers :)

Dave

a ) AFAIK

b + d ) the q45 TB will bolt up, or you use stock TB you need an adaptor, which is about $100 new

c ) some of the stock hoses need to be altered (shortened mainly), wires for the AAC and AC idle solenoids need to be lengthened, minor mods to fuel rail feed - there are instructions, with heaps of pictures, but they are in japanese - pretty easy to follow though. Also, water feed for the turbo needs to be modded (from memory). thats about all I can think of :)

e ) GTiR is fine, or you can alter (lengthen) the stock cable.

Thanks for the info Steve!

I take it the TPS senor wire would have to be lengthened too... How much roughly will a Q45 set one back ?

No , the TPS wires reach with no mods and a Q45 80mm throttle body will set you back $300 upwards.

You will also need to change your intercooler piping and the big IAC pipe will have to find a home in the inlet pipe somewhere.

I think if you get the proper GReddy FMIC then it already has that pipe there.

Cheers
