So I see that Dane has withdrawn??? What's the go man? Losing 1 cannard too much to handle? :nyaanyaa:

As far as I know Chris Thomson and Ryan Bell are still in. I'm in. Should be lots of fun :)

Sorry Dane. I forgot about the wrist when I wrote that... I reckon Thomson will have a good chance getting up the front although the people that have been the last few years will benifit from knowing the course unlike us 3.

  • 2 weeks later...

As of last night chris is coming 4th was a 53.8, I'm was 40th with 58.6, Ryan has done a 1:00.8

Chris is upsetting the front guys as he's not far behind them and the fastest on semis. We're feeling left out as everyone is using soft compound slicks...

Awesome weekend!!! Very cool set up they have over there.

Chris definately caused a stir :)

Some very impressive cars

Condolences to Dave from SA - not a good ending for you at all, but it was great to see you back in high spirits on Sunday. Wishing you the best of luck with the repairs

Good job mate!

So are you ready to do a Targa event or what now Russ? :)

haha. Maybe if I had the budget... For now it's just track days, Deca's, Hill climbs and Superlaps... That's enough for the wallet at this stage.

LOL, there is 12-15k just there :)

Yeah pretty much. My wallet hates me these days.. 4k in tyres, 1-2k brakes, 1k fluids, 2k fuel per year. That's as long as I don't break anything, or want to upgrade anything.

Hopefully small upgrades in the next year won't cost me much.

    • These arrived today! Sadly I'm going to probably be smart and enjoy the car as is over the summer/sunny period and save the ~2 weeks downtime it'd take to swap the heads over and tune later in the year. Maybe. It's going to be pretty damn tempting seeing these bolt on funs just sitting in storage when they're ready to go. There's a non-zero chance I end up @The Bogan'ing it.

    • I was driving behind an FG (or something similar) Falcon ute with a shopping trolley wing (1/3 the height of that ^ one) on the back end of the hard cover....and it took me 5s to realise I wasn't looking at an NSX. f**king bogans.
