Hi Guys,

just about to buy my new skyline, i have narrowed down to the best two, one is 2003 premium and the other is 2005 premium.series 2

they both have roughly the same k's.

They are both autos, same options except a for few differences, i tried to search for the answers to no avail.

so my questions are,

1 is the 2005 series 2 model more powerful ie 222kw or is that the manual only version?

2 the 2005 model does not seem to have a snow/power button like the 2003 (or does it somewhere else please tell) the dealer could not find it either?

3 the 2003 model has woodgraintrim i like this can i order it somewhere if i buy the other and where?

4 is it worth me paying $4000 extra on a series 2 model and why? eg brakes, LSD on auto(not sure)

5 can the english conversion be done on a series 2 yet?

Mate the interior difference alone is a reason to go for the series 2 model. Woodgrain in the first series looks ugly. The power is the same i believe the 2006 model came with the power increase. I wouldnt worry about a snow button.

Also, after reading the differences years ago when I was looking to get a v35 there were some known issues in the first series that were sorted in the series 2 skyline. I would also assume you are getting bigger wheels in the 2005 model as well.
