Hi guys,

I have a leak coming from under the manifold. Its coming from what I believe is called the 'heater return pipe' (I think?).. A metal water pipe that runs from the front of the manifold to the back, directly underneath the manifold and above the oil filter from memory. Connects to a Tpiece that goes into the bottom radiator hose and into the block.

I actually have a spare one of these at home so my question is, do you have to take off the manifold to swap this pipe over? Or can you get to it from beneath/side/any easier way?!

Annoyingly I have just taken off most of the water hoses from the manifold front/side on the weekend and then put them back on yesterday so I can get to work :\

I knew the metal bit that connects to the hose>T piece is corroded but I was hoping to avoid replacing it for the moment..

Not keen to take off the manifold by myself really.

Thanks for any help,

Kaz

he made the 35mm tpiece that connects to it :) caus it was corroded... but ive got a leak coming from the pipe as above. This pipe is about 30cm? Long... From memory.. Its possible its coming from a loose hose clamp or the hose caus i couldnt replace them til i saw scotty.. But still either way i need to replace it when i take the bottom hose off (AGAIN!).. Caus i ain't doing it a 4th time.. lol so much fun..

if I take half of it apart again! I think..

the purple is the pipe I have to replace anyway but its still a b1tch to get to.. the pink is where water is coming from now.. FAST makes things alot clearer without pulling them apart sometimes :D

It looks like only two bolts to me but I'll have to check.. think fuel lines are in the way there too from memory
