I'm not sure; mine's pretty notchy under power, feels nothing like my old cone LSD that was preloaded to the shithouse; much tighter...

Might just be that they don't cop such a hard time at stock power output; so they're nice & fresh.

i thought that was just me..

when you take a u turn(for instance) and give it abit of power do you notice the rear tires chirping as if it was locked?

Yep, that's why I'd lean towards it being a mechanical clutch type, rather than a viscous.

      If that's the wiring from the factory, I'd be inspecting the loom everywhere.   Any signs of that anywhere else, and seriously, I'd get rid of the car ASAP before the electrical gremlins make it worthless, or it goes up in flames on its own. That is scary how that insulation is failing!

      I should note too as I have all 4 wheel speed inputs to the emtron I now have the emtron controlling the attessa solenoid for 4wd/traction and launch control strategies.
