3 Months Or 1 Point Option

hey guys, im soon to get my license back, early august.. and have to decide whether to choose 3 months extra to refresh my 12 points, or go on a 12 month option with 1 demerit point, im definetly buying a R34 GTR , and a daily

but after opinions on what would you guys do? if i take the 1 point il be nervous to drive anywhere, doesnt matter how cautious you are you can get done for anything these days

but i also just want to drive again.

or does anyone know someone in vicroads to clear the option and give me 12 points? for $$$ ofcourse

i took the 12 month option. in a supra i was fine. just dont drive as a douche would and you'll be fine

i would go for the three months option, three months isnt all that long, if you take the one demerit and get done for anything how long do you lose it for again?

its so ridiculously easy to lose one demerit point that i would just wait the three months,

and while doing that, Id be changing your avatar picture.....

thats pretty f**ked up IMHO. Think about others for a change when they read your thread you get an eyeful of some shithouse porno drawing of a bloke rooting a tailpipe......... how the hell do I tell my kids what the pic was about? What about if someone reads your thread at work during lunch break, boss walks past sees your sick exhaustpipe-sex drawing and gets a warning/fired?

You sir should be given a few days off from SAU until you a) change your avatar pic, and b) realize its a pretty stupid thing to do.

you could get done for not stopping long enough at a stop sign if the cops i a bad mood and then no driving for 6 months, i lost 1 demerit for having my fog lights on (on a double demerit weekend, i dunno how you lose one demerit on a double demerit weekend) take the three months...

I regretted not taking the 3 month option. I took the 12 month and was fine and its due to finish in August...

Guess what? Got pulled over by the cops in April...and I wasn't driving like a douche either...

One mistake and its another 6 months...

SAU tries hard to be a site all people can access. it's why we have swear word filters and why we have a no pornography rule. I'm not sure if W34pnGT removed his own avatar but by the time I saw it his avatar pic was of 2 wheels, his profile pic however still had the 'drawing' in it. I've removed it (it's blank now).

I haven't added to your warning level as most people get 1 free pass off me unless they do something really nasty. I know it's meant in fun and is not exactly sexually explicit but it does depict a man's genitalia and that is offensive to people with young kids etc. In future please refrain from posting or using any pics or drawings that could be construed as being pornographic. my advice is this. if you are about to post something and then wondering "is this ok, or not ok?" chances are it's not ok. if it was totally ok you wouldn't have to think about it.

PS, take the 3 extra months. nothing worse than sitting on 1 point for a whole year wondering when you are going to get your collar felt for the tiniest infraction. you'll suddenly see every taxi in your rearview mirror as a cop car (like the bloke in the drink driving ads). take 3 months. it's not the end of the world.
