So its been a couple of 100 k's so i thought id post my final thoughts.. still running it in the original location.. no problems holding boost to redline now. i must say i am in LOVE! this has totally transformed the car! the thing is so much fun now! it must have taken a little while for the computer to learn though it is so nice to drive with plenty of grunt!

I highly recommend this 2 minute mod to anyone still running the factory boost controller. and no error at all for not having it plugged in.

Do the M35's have a "Solenoid valve control system (common on Nissan and Mitsubishi vehicles)"? (As per: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_id=15262)

I really want to get my I-color installed tonight, just can't get my head around this shit. :stupid:

Slightly out of my depth here; but I would say so.

There is a stock solenoid that takes in a boost line (comes off a T) and then plumbs back into the intake behind the AFM. IMPUL gave me a nice hand drawn diagram of this (their suggestion to me was to bypass the solenoid – thus the reason for the diagram) but if you’re not sure where the lines are then this should make it reasonably clear. Ive removed the unnecessary Japanese text and arrows in the diagram. Its drawn from the perspective of standing on the passenger side looking down (birds eye view) at the engine. Far left hand side is thus the front of the car – the box at the bottom is the air filter box etc.

Tried to keep it all looking fairly factory so I kept the T piece. Confident that the other Blitz Valve Unit is setup right, just wanted to check that these lines are ok. (Will be putting them under all the cabling after, just had them up top for the photo)

Apologies for the shit photo. I have a crap phone and a not so steady hand.
