Tow Bar/ball

Hey Guys,

I have a V35 coupe and have recently gotten back into mountain bike riding.

Im curious to know if anyone here has or knows where to go to get a tow ball so that I can add a bike rack to the rear of the car? is it even possible?

It's always possible. Hit up hayman and reese for a specially made one, but be prepared to pay. Cheaper to probably get roof racks of some sort? Like the ones that go through the cabin and tie down?? If they can be retrofitted for bikes?

And look easy to install - most just bolt to your rear reo bar, and some have an arm that goes back for extra strenth and bolts to the bottom of the spare wheel well (they look more suited to sedans though).

I've never seen a V35 with neither tow bar or roof rack.

Maybe take a photo with the bicycle attached and post up?

just remember when buying from the US, pounds (lb) are NOT the same as kilograms for weight rating.

something hooked up to the rear reo bar is probably a bad spot to tow something from.

Thanks Nightcrawler. Did a bit of looking around and found one that ships to Aus.

zei20l - it will only be used to transport a bike or two, so not much weight at all..

for a few bikes its probably a cost effective way to do it. maybe a jetski, but anything heavier id be getting something with a bigger load rating.
