Is it possible to modify a standard rb25DET wastegate actuator to an adjustable item, that will able to adjust boost levels.????

Has anyone done this?

If so, will the factory two stage boost controller have to be disconnected?

Will it be capable of maintaining stable boost levels?

There is a free mod u can do to the actuator.

To get free high boost just pull the hose off the actuator. Then for low boost put the hose back on.

I would recommend NOT doing this unless ur ready to rebuild ur engine and turbo.

A cheaper way is to buy a manual boost controller which takes 10 minutes to install.

U MUST have a boost gauge reading psi or bar to set the boost safely.

Was this by chance out of an automatic 33 :P?

They are all the same. You will need to cut off the rear end of stock actuator then tab in thread on to actuation rod. Once done attach the adjustable extender.

AFAIK manual is 7psi and auto is 9psi.

Yeh I think there is a difference between auto and manuals as stated in the manuals...?

Just run a std rb20 actuator for steady 10ish psi and get a controller if you want more

Not easy to find a Standard RB20 actuator, have been looking for 2 months now, can buy a whole motor but not an actuator.
