Connecting an iPod.

I have no idea about car audio, but I know I want to connect an iPod to my car stereo. Can it be done? If so, how can it be done? What do I need? Have any of you done it?

Depends on your stereo I guess. Does it have inputs like for a CD stacker? Can't think of any other way to do it other than the Cassette adaptor that you can get to hook up a diskman to a tape deck, quality is a bit crappy with them but.

I have a stacker input on the rear of my unit. How would it connect? Could it connect directly to my amp? I don't know what inputs my amp has - what inputs would it need?
