Oil Cooler Hose Installation

Just about to put in my oil cooler and want to make sure the hoses are the right way. So basically is it the outer of the sandwich plate goes to the outer of the relocation plate then the inner of the relocation plate goes to one side of the cooler and the other side of the cooler goes back to inner of the sandwich plate?

boostn, yes I think your diagram looks correct.

and the one below, thats a thermostated setup, which runs the fourth line I think. The basic non thermosated kits only run the 3, as far as i know anyway.
