Hey Guys,

Has anyone got any specs for the r33 hi-flow turbo slide use to do? what cartridge did he use? I think he use to call it a stage 3, rated at 250rwkw, max over size wheels for the housings. I'm trying to chase up a bit more information so Toshi on the forum can tune my standard ECU by mail to suit this turbo. Also does anyone have a dyno sheet with this turbo fitted?

I searched through the archives but couldn't find to much more information, btw what happened to slide and sliding performance??? he hasn't been active since last year and his trading website is down?

Thanks,

Brett.

Good luck trying to guess a tune :/

Perhaps have a search, there were threads on them from 3-4yrs ago, that would be the best bet for info.

My understanding is he uses saved maps from previous similar tunes and modifications, from searching I have found other customers that have had success with toshi remapped ECU's. I barely drive the thing anymore, just looking for the cheapest/easiest way to get it tuned for more boost without hitting R&R.

Had a search through many pages of threads from years ago, can't find much specific information, lost cause I guess :(

^^^ incorrect on the first part.

The waiting list got out of hand and Aaron had a disagreement with a partner, meaning he started to look bad as so many people guessed what was happening and then others repeated it.

End of the day, it was more profitable for him to get out of automotive and into another industry.

On topic; guessing a tune is just silly. The poor man does everything twice. Unless you're in a rural area with no access to a dyno, take it to a local tuner and be upfront about your budget and say you're happy to wait as you're not a high paying customer. Good luck with it, however you end up doing it :)

Not rural, but it's Toowoomba... There are actually a fair few dyno's but most of them only cater for diesels and the ones that can tune petrol turbos usually can't do it well and don't have a good rep. I have had bad experiences trying to get a PFC tuned in Toowoomba and wasted a fair bit of money only to have a car that could barely idle. That's when I gave up on it, sold the pfc and other supporting mods.

You and r31 are right, I'm just a bit lazy and didn't want to drive an hour to Brisbane to get it tuned. Toshi I found out is actually heading up to the gold coast/brissy next weekend to do tuning, might have to hit him up.
