Idle Raised.

Hey guys I have searched the forum high and low but couldn't find anything, I have a r34 GTT series 2, I just changed the spark plugs and the idle went up from 800 to 1100, what could be the cause of this? Any help is very much appreciated in advance, thanks.

Most likely its not due to the sparkplug itself but something to do with the shit load of shit you had to move to get to the shittin plugs

Check if all hoses are connected are in the right spot and all the joints of the piping are sealed and tight

no expert here first of all, but after doing the same with my r33, i noticed the idle started to hunt, (pwr FC) so maybe you disturbed somthing like the throttle sensor etc???

Hey guys yeah it was the worst f**ken set of spark plugs I've ever had to change, ill check over all the vac hoses soon, what if I were to reset the computer would it relearn the idle? I'll let you know how I go after checking all the vac lines, thanks.

Sounds like you've left the throttle position sensor unplugged.

hey well the sensor is plugged in, ive unplugged it and plugged it when the car was on, and nothing happens, could it be dirty? is there a way to clean it? let me know asap please, thanks.
