Nismo 1.5 Way Diff In R33 Gtr Knocking?!

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if a NISMO 1.5 Way diff is meant to make alot of noise? ie.. Feels like its locking the front left wheel when i am turning right and the opposite way when im turning left.

My car is a R33 GTR, not sure if it makes any difference, but im assuming it has something to do the 4WD the GTRs have.

When im going through a round bout for example it knocks knocks knocks, then when i clutch it its gone when i release the clutch pedal its knocking again..

I nearly pooped my pants when i was exiting a freeway and heard the noises the first time i drove the car, sounded like the wheel is coming off

I was told it was a NISMO 1.5 havent had a look at it to be sure, but the seller did show me the receipts of the diff and installation etc.

But anyways just want to know if anyone else has experienced this or anything..

Oh and forgot to mention, it launches very good, locks both wheels instantly!

low speed maneuvering is a bit funny such as turning into my driveway or parking the rear wheels just skip along...

Anyone have this diff in their GTR at all?

That's what a mechanical diff does.. I've got a Nismo 2-way so it's worse

Could try some different fluid to maybe quieten it down.

i have a cusco two way and you cant describe how bad it clunks and knock, try changing the diff oil use the nismo stuff

Mine used to scare mothers with babies and old people in carparks, can't wait to drive it again

LOL with definitely try some different oil in it, its just soo noisy and sounds like everything is either rattling or crunching or breaking!
