Hey All,

I've been looking around for a set of 18inch track wheels, I was just wondering if someone could clarify fitment regarding certain offsets. Here are a few options I've been considering and would like to know if they will fit well and basically what is the ranged in terms of width and offset for front and rear.

1. 18in TE37SL 18 x 10.5 +15 GUNMETAL 5x114

2. Work CR Kai 18x9.5 +20 all round

3. Nismo LMGT4 19 X 9.5" +30 (all four) 5 X 114.3 STUD PATTERN

4. TE37 18x10.5 +22 All round

5. RE30 18x9.5 +22 All round

Pretty much just want to develop a bit of knowledge as to what will fit and what wont does going 9.5 front and 10.5 rear matter etc. Pretty much will anything designed for an R34 GTR be a straight fit for an R35 GTR cause there are a ton of 18's and even 19's with those offsets and sizes available. Also does any1 know of say the cost difference in say RE55's for 19's vs 18's and availability.

Cheers

You should add enkie GTC01 18x10x22 to your list (much better clearance vs the te37 etc). Square setup, flip left/right/front/back and cheap-ish. I've used them at a few track days...

And as far as i know they don't make 19" RE55's

Yeah decent semi-comps are only available in 18's and smaller at this stage. And from what I have been told recently we aren't likely to see that change any time in the near future.

18 x 10.5's all around seem to be the way forwards (with 295 rubber) - although I haven't seen any concrete agreement on whether +15 offsets are actually ok to run. Seems +22's are the more common choice - but +15's are more readily available.

I'll be test fitting a set of 18 x 10.5 +15 TE37SL's to mine when I get the car back to Melbourne.

But I'd be very careful about buying anything unproven. My last car set-up had 375mm brakes and I found only a very limited choice of wheels that had an internal diameter capable of clearing the brakes. Obviously the R35 set-up is 380mm so will be even worse.

TE37's + LMGT4's were both ok - but for example CE28's and even standard R34 GT-R rims were not.

Ok so 18's it is thats no problem, So we definetly know that TE37's 10.5 or 9.5 wide with the +22 offset fit and are still waiting to verify the +15 offset.

I will have a look at the enkei as I dont mind those wheels, will definetly keep my eyes open for a set.

If anyone is aware of any other sets that definetly fit up nicely with the sizes and offsets that would be great :).

Yeah they look great mate. I fitted the new A050's to Berry's new 11 inchies on the weekend, they're pretty light too.

R35s look fantastic with 18s and fat rubber. And its easy (and cheeper) to get the slicks from porsche cup cars too.

There was a R35 at QR with Nismo LMGT4s in 18s a while ago, not sure of the width or offset.
