Hey guys, i've just bought a '93 R32 GTST and its as stock as a rock,

apart from 3inch exhaust and im 90% sure its got coilovers, turbo timer, and a hell old boost gauge.

So im currently looking at what would be the best way to get to 300rwhp.

My mate has a 180sx he said he spent about 3k on the engine to get it to 300hp

so i was wondering what are the best mods to help me achieve this.

things im looking at getting first (due to cash flow)

-FMIC

-Electronic Boost Controller

-RB25 turbo??

-injectors??

I've been told front mount is $500-600 second hand, and a electronic boost controller is quite a bit.

Probs got about 2k to spend, but any ideas/how your set-ups are would be awesome to get an idea!

Hi

Welcome the website.

What you are asking is rather common, and there is plenty of information available for you.

1. Dyno thread, have a read, see what other people have done

http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/103095-rb20-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/

2. FI Guide, plenty of links there for the beginner to read

You'll soon see $2000 is nowhere near enough to make 220rwkw. If your budget is that tight i'd suggest leaving it as is.

ECU & tune = 1500

GTR injectors = 200

Turbo = 1000

FMIC = 600

Labour/gaskets/fittings/other stuff that might go wrong etc = 500-1000

Nistune Chip in your ecu + a tune will cost around $500

New Front mount will be $400 - 500

GTR injectors around $200 - Set aside another $250 for cleaning, flow testing, new o rings and resistor pack

Hiflow your turbo for $900 No need for a boost controller yet, just get a 1.2kg actuator with the hi flow(Boost controller ca be added later)

That should do more than 300rwhp
