P.S. Why are skylines so cheap? How would they do against say a 2002 WRX? or a Camaro Z-28?

Skylines arent that cheap mate...depends what model and what mods/condition

Stock vs stock (r33 vs wrx2002)

would be close, not sure on 1/4 mile times for the wrx

But a R33 GTS-t stock does the quarter in low 14's

And camaros just suck in my opinion lol...

Ah, they're a different hand drive to all the other cars you'll find in America. Dunno if you'd need a special permit or what to drive it, but it would be a little odd. And from what i heard they aren't easy to come by in the US, specially not in LHD (left hand drive) form...

well there are plenty of old-skool mustangs here in oz that are left hand drive. i cant see any reason why they wouldnt allow the opposite in the States, although im sure that you'll need a special permit or something.

there are ways to get it Rhd over there say if was to be of track use only, i think there are some states over there that allow it?? but not if you live in calie, i thing the main problem with the price is no one over there is willing to give over 3 versions of the make/model to be used to crash test. that motorex are the only ones proven to put a registered skyline in your drive way in the USA. if you havent looked at there website then to have a r33 gts-t registered in the USA from this crowd will set you back $80000 US dollars or to get them to do the swap and register is around the $15000 to $20000 us dollar mark. if you have the $$ then Sh*t get one other wise buy a house!!
