R32S Unofficially Imported Before 1991?

Hi to all, new kid here, just wondering f you could answer a question for me (apologies if this has been posted before - I looked around and couldn't find anything specific): Were there any R32 GT-Rs imported into Australia prior to Nissan Australia bringing over their lot of 100? My memory is a little fuzzy on the subject, but I seem to remember someone telling me that a few came over (personal imports) before Nissan Aus decided to officially sell them here. Any info wuld be greatly appreciated.
