Nistune Ecu And Nismo Afms

hey guys, just wondering if the nistune ecu (r32 gtr specific) will be able to run NISMO air flow meters?

im pretty certain they are in the air flow meter drop down box, but is this function online?

has anyone got a nistune on a GTR and is running NISMO air flow meters?

Yes, they're supported. I'm sure you can verify that in the product documentation at nistune.com.

They have same sensing element as z32 but have a stock housing so they bolt onto the stock gtr airbox.

So yes they can be used

bingo. they are a VG30 sensor in a RB26 housing. the airflow vs voltage curve is slightly different to a VG30 AFM but not significantly so. I'm sure it can be dealt with in nistune.

I actually dont think they are vg30 sensors in gtr housings, as by my calculations, the gtr has the same sensor as the vg30, it reads more due to its increased size.

a vg30 sensor in a 65mm housing wouldnt be close enough to the same. 65mm flows around 2/3 of what a 80mm pipe would. i think you'll find the nismo ones are calibrated to roughly match the z32 in overall airflow vs voltage

Ur right. What i meant was it has very similar airflow curves so when setting it up in nistune the z32 sensors can be selected and tweak the VQ table
