I'd rather drive the STi at DECA to be honest, not much fun putting around the the Radical in first gear with no handbrake. It also takes a long time to warm with the dry sump setup so it's a hell of a lot of running time for not much driving time

Getting beaten in an STi is excusable but punishable in a Radical :D

both fair calls haha

I've checked the 2011 Cams Manual, aswell as the CAMS website, and can't find anything that states the extinguisher must be bolted in...

Just bolt it in or i wont pass you

Tow it up with the STi then give me the keys, I'll make sure it gets driven... Even up that Running/Driving ratio for you :)

for the GTR owners, is it worth upping the oil weight for a DECA? or will the streeter 10w40 still be ok? i'm thinking because most 'events' are short and sharp, i can prob leave the normal oil in there?

that's if i'm even in.... ooo the suspense :D

THE BEST RESPONSIVE SETUP EXISTS FOR YOUR CAR, AND HAS BEEN PROVEN FOR QUITE SOME TIME NOW. IN B4 "BUT I WANT EVEN MORE RESPONSE, IN A SIMPLER, MORE RELIABLE PACKAGE" WHICH IS A LS.
    • 1. Factory knock sensors for now, honestly the RB26 OEM knock sensors seem ok as they're flat response instead of resonant type but they appear to be internally grounded to the block. If I do replace the sensor it would just be to get ones that are not internally grounded so a differential input can be used to reject common mode noise. Definitely plan on fixing this as a part of the tuning process. 2. Never deliberately induced knock, though I guess I could try that experiment if I really wanted to. 3. All of this is basically on a stock engine + ECU, only modification is HKS GTIII-SS turbos and a Nismo plenum. Currently I run it with the wastegate solenoid unplugged so it won't try to raise boost past wastegate pressure.
