Quite a few people do this when converting neo or 26s, just chop the ignitor module off and wire them up that way and it should run fine. If the coils are relatively new shouldn't be an issue.

OT: Rolls, do you know what the difference is between the two integral ignitor coil types? Ie the neo ones and the R34 GTR ones? Is Neo more powerful? Any idea which has the lower primary winding resistance?

Because for what you pay for them, they aren't THAT much of an improvement. You pay around $1500-$2000 for a secondhand kit, where for similar money you could get a brand-new Wilwood 6-pot kit or similar with warranty etc.

Injectors yes, coil packs no. Coilpack setup is different on the R34 and not as reliable.

I know its a little off topic but could u expand on why the arent as reliable??
