Hey i just finished changing the spark plugs in my r34 gt-t rb25det.

The spark plugs i pulled out of it had a gap around .9-.1ish. I figure this is due to wear so I put in the spark plug at what everyone is recommending which is .8

The car is actually idling really smoothly and accelerates really smoothly as well,

however before you could feel when the car came on boost (you got the surge). Now it just feels more continuous without the surge of the turbo.

Should changing the spark plugs have this sort of effect.?

Thanks in advance.

Running a smaller gap will decrease torque.

Ifu can run 1.1mm gap without misfiring that would be good.

Most run .8mm when running higher boost due to the coilpacks not being strong enough to send the spark across the 1.1mm gap.
