Its an awesome idea. Can't stand the miniature boxes with split screen.

Correct me if in wrong, but this is only for passive 3d, yes? I don't see anyone doing this with their active 3d glasses.

Well I had a quick play while watching TV closing the right eye then the left eye and you see half the screen each time.... Very cool

They work really well in ragtop cars as well - you tilt your head to change the angle of the wings on the spaceship on top of the glasses for adjustable downforce. Bet your MW3/Gunnar Optiks glasses cant do that!!
