Hi guys. I am new to this forum. I have just got a 1999 nissan stagea imported from Japan and the climate control/tv/cd player touch screen is all in japanese. Does anyone know of a way to convert it to australian or know of anything i can replace it with without loosing any of the functions? I have tried nissan dealerships and nissan australia and they have been no help. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

As far as I know, only the later model M35 units can be converted to English.

I tried getting mine done too through Audio Express in Brisbane, but they told me it couldn't be done.

Pretty sure Brad "ducati02" has cracked both the c34 and m35 models. "The OLDS" had their c34 done by him a month ago

Just leave the screen in there and ad a new system to the aux in the boot. Like a TV tuner, IPOD or gps. Then you just need to get the screen video unblocked while diving for the gps.

Your screen might allready have an overide button just check around for it.

I was at an import yard back in November last year, and they had someone that they took their cars to as they all had Japanese writing on the buttons, the owner of the yard said it was about $200 to have it converted.
